Modal fiber and ESD workwear

Modal fiber and ESD workwear 2.12.2024

A perfect combination

Our search for a material that combines outstanding ESD properties with maximum comfort and durability began over ten years ago.

Why modal for ESD clothing?

  1. Natural antistatic propertiesThanks to the cellulose base of the fibre, Modal can be ideally combined with conductive materials to minimize electrostatic charges.
  2. Skin-friendly and breathable: Modal feels silky soft on the skin and efficiently wicks away moisture - ideal for long periods of wear in sensitive work areas.
  3. Longevity: The fiber is particularly hard-wearing, retains its shape even after frequent washing and remains colorfast.
  4. LightnessESD clothing made of modal is light and flexible, which makes it even more comfortable to wear.

Our ESD workwear is the result of intensive research and an innovative material mix that optimally combines modal with conductive fibers. The result is clothing that offers protection as well as comfort and sustainability - a combination that is second to none.

Use of modal fiber for KETEX®

Today, modal fiber is an integral part of our ESD workwear. It plays a key role in our efforts to reconcile the needs of our customers with the requirements of environmental protection and safety. Our clothing meets the highest standards, not only in ESD protection zones, but also in terms of comfort and durability. Thanks to the Modal fiber, we have succeeded in creating a fabric that perfects the balance between technical function and a natural feel.
