The revolution in ESD measurement technology 7.5.2025

KEINATH Electronic presents the world's first ESD multimeter!

With the market launch of our sparktrap® EPA SafeAssure®, we at KEINATH Electronic are setting a milestone in ESD measurement technology. As the first&nbsp

Until now, ESD measurement has often been associated with considerable effort - both in terms of implementation and evaluation. Individual devices for resistance, field strength and charge decay measurements, time-consuming manual documentation and uncertain standard comparisons made everyday work more difficult. This is where EPA SafeAssure® comes in, offering a solution that not only measures precisely, but also evaluates intelligently and documents automatically.

The technical design of our device ensures precise measurements in accordance with DIN EN IEC 61340-5-1. The integrated software analyzes the measurement data collected and automatically compares it with the corresponding standard limit values. This immediately provides the user with clear pass or fail feedback - without manual calculations or interpretations.

In addition, the results can be assigned directly to an object using the asset tracking tool and easily managed and exported via the device. This also enables seamless preparation for ESD audits.

Our system is based on a precise high-ohm meter and includes a wireless field mill connected via Bluetooth. The modular electrode system with interchangeable electrode plates (ring/cylinder) enables flexible adaptation to different measurement situations. The extensive range of technical accessories includes two-point and hand electrodes, a charge plate monitor set, sleeve electrodes, a Teflon hanger for material testing, specified measuring cables and a professional cable reel. The modular design allows flexible adaptation to different measurement tasks and areas of application - from verification testing to material qualification.

Our sparktrap® EPA SafeAssure® is aimed at technical experts and specialists in ESD protection in the fields of quality assurance and management, production engineering, measurement technology, process management and ESD auditing. Particularly relevant industries include electronics manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, medical technology and telecommunications, where ESD control is a critical factor for product quality and reliability.

Our sparktrap® EPA SafeAssure® is developed and manufactured entirely in Baden-Württemberg, which guarantees the highest quality standards in accordance with "Made in Germany".

The combination of technological innovation and precise manufacturing results in a measurement system that sets new standards for reliability and measurement accuracy in ESD protection measurement technology. Companies looking to optimize and future-proof their ESD processes will find sparktrap® EPA SafeAssure® to be a technologically sophisticated instrument that simplifies measurement procedures, minimizes sources of error and significantly increases process reliability.
