The TERA TOM TF 600 ohmmeter is ideal for mobile use in industrial areas thanks to its compact design and battery operation. It can also be operated stationary thanks to its plug-in power supply unit. The two-button operation is menu-driven. The PC software supplied also enables computer-controlled measurement data acquisition. In addition, measurement results can be managed and further processed. The TOM TF 600 works according to the current-voltage measurement method. The measurement time specified in the standard can be set using the internal timer to carry out measurements in accordance with the IEC DIN EN 61340 standards. The measured values are stored in the internal EEPROM and can be read out at a later time via the PC interface. To enable a reproducible measurement, humidity and room temperature are measured, displayed and stored together with the resistance.
The TOM TF 600 is not approved for measurements in EX and energy plant areas.
