ESD 1 - Electro Static Discharge

The participants receive a sound basic knowledge of the physics of electrostatics and its damage mechanisms in electronic components. They will be familiarized with the necessary protective measures, the equipment and setup of an ESD protection zone (EPA) according to standard IEC DIN EN 61340-5-1 and others. You will receive an overview of the tasks of an ESD officer, as well as the measurement methods and measuring devices for electrostatics. Through a final performance review, the graduates prove their acquired knowledge, which is confirmed by the certificate Electro Static Discharge.
